We are pleased to offer reduced membership fees determined by the member’s country of residence. Determination is made by using tables listing low income, low-middle income and upper-middle income countries as defined by the World Bank.
Please note you must be based full-time in the applicable countries in order to be eligible for the discount. Please Contact Us to receive the membership code.
Contemplative Practitioner Member

Any person whose occupation is a contemplative practitioner (e.g. monastic, priest, nun).
Regular Member
USD 200.00
Any professional person working in academia, health care, private practice, governmental agencies, non-profit, or for-profit organizations and who do not consider themselves to be a Contemplative Practitioner as a primary occupation.
Graduate Student Member

Any student currently enrolled in an accredited graduate degree-granting program at an educational institution of higher learning. Graduate Student Membership shall terminate at the end of the first membership year in which the student is able to apply for Regular Membership, which shall be in the calendar year following completion or departure from the degree-granting program.
Undergraduate Student Member

Any student currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree-granting program at an educational institution of higher learning. Undergraduate Student Membership shall terminate at the end of the first membership year in which the student is no longer enrolled as an undergraduate.
Trainee Member

Any person currently engaged as an individual who is undertaking advanced education, training, or professional development beyond formal academic programs but has not yet attained full professional status or independence in their field. Trainee members are typically individuals who are in the process of completing specialized training, such as postdoctoral fellows, residents, clinical fellows, or individuals engaged in internships, apprenticeships, or other structured professional development programs.
Low- and Lower-Middle-Income Country Member

Any professional person working in academia, health care, private practice, governmental agencies, or non-profit or for-profit organizations who do not consider themselves to be a Contemplative Practitioner, or any Graduate Student, Undergraduate Student or Trainee currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree granting program at an educational institution of higher learning and who reside and work or study, in a low or lower-middle income country as defined by the World Bank.
Retired Member

Any person retired from their occupation as a Contemplative Practitioner or in academia, health care, private practice, governmental agencies, non-profit, or for-profit organizations.
How to Purchase your ISCR Membership
ISCR Membership is now managed by Conference Manager 2.0, a membership management application that is also used by other organizations. Due to this shared system, you may already have an existing account. Please review the instructions below carefully so as not to create duplicate user accounts.
Memberships are now moving from a rolling membership term to a fixed membership term, with memberships expiring December 31st each year. For members with expiration dates in 2024, please watch your email for a personalized notice with instructions on how to move your membership to the new system. This will include special codes to access reduced fees representing the difference between your current expiry date and the new December 31st 2024 dates.
When using the system for the first time, new users will be asked to validate their profiles. You will only be asked to do this once. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we switch to the new system.
Option 1:
Adjust existing membership
ISCR has migrated to a new Membership software, therefore your renewal process will be a little different this year. If you are a current member of the International Society for Contemplative Research, please click the button below.
Because this is a new system, everyone needs to create a new user profile. On the landing page, select “create user profile” under the “New Users” heading Once you have created your new user account, you can log-in to your Conference Manager Dashboard. These credentials will also be required for submitting an abstract.
The center tile of the dashboard will say Membership Enrollment – click the link that says, “Enroll Now”. Once you select the appropriate membership type, you will be able to apply a discount code related to any active membership status as communicated directly through email. You will then have the option to pay online with a VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover credit card via our secure payment processer. If you would prefer to pay via phone, fax, mail, or electronic funds transfer, you will find the necessary information in the form.
Option 2:
Renew or Join
If you are not a current member of ISCR, please click the button below and create an account. On the landing page, select “create user profile” under the “New Users” heading. After you create your account, you will use your email, and new password to log into the system. These credentials will also be required for submitting an abstract.
